Tenant Questions

Do I pay any brokerage to PropThinks?
No brokerage fee. You pay the token (10% of rent, adjusted against first month), security deposit (2 months rent held by PropThinks), and monthly rent. The 8% management fee is paid by the owner, not the tenant.
Who do I contact for maintenance issues?
Submit a maintenance request through the app with photos and description. Our local team coordinates with vendors — you don't need to find contractors yourself.
What happens if I want to move out?
Give 30 days written notice. Our team conducts a final inspection, documents the property condition, and processes your security deposit refund within 7 working days.
Will the owner contact me directly?
No. PropThinks enforces zero direct communication between owners and tenants. All interactions go through our team — this protects both sides.
How is KYC verification done?
Standard identity and address verification using Aadhaar, PAN, employment letter, and salary slips. This is KYC verification — not police verification.
